STUDIO RECORDING SERVICES

Drexler Media offers broadcast quality audio recording services both in-house (quiet, air-cooled “Whisper Room”) and on location. Please refer to the list of studio and recording equipment used and a selection of recent projects recorded.

ISDN clients may hire the studio by arrangement to link Drexler Media or outside talent to another studio or broadcaster worldwide. ISDN recording and transmission on location is also available via Telos Zephyr XStreme and Telos Zephyr XPort (by arrangement). Tape Syncing is available, both in studio and on location. Clients may also monitor and direct recording sessions by standard telephone interface with talent.

RECENT RECORDING/PRODUCTION PROJECTS

La Jolla Music Society 2009 Jazz Series – recorded Cyrus Chestnut Trio, Marcus Roberts Trio and Nicholas Payton Quintet concerts plus post-production mixing for public radio broadcast distribution.

NPR “Tech Nation” at BIO Conference 2008 – recorded and produced 40 interviews for broadcast with host of NPR program and leading Biotechnology figures at San Diego Convention Center.

BBC World Service “Culture Shock” – tape sync interview with author/futurist David Brin on location.
